'Jiva' mat is woven using the traditional bhujodi technique, which is revered for its detailed geometric motifs and the complex interplay of patterns. The 100% cotton composition ensures comfort and durability, while the stripes add subtle texture. Tagai embroidery embellishes the edges of the surface, offering intricate detail, while handcrafted tassels frame the edges, elevating the mat’s visual appeal. Hand crafted textiles which are used to
make textiles such as handloom, bandhani,
ikkat, extra weft, clamp-dye- are all located in different geographical locations. We monitor quality of these in our capacity but being handmade there do come minor errors which we do not treat as defects, sometimes a Bandhani dot may leave a slight mark or extra weft may cause slight color bleeding . These are not defect for us but features of working with handcrafted products.
To care for this product we preferably
suggest you dry clean or else hand wash in
cold water with mild or no detergent
